The Sidewinder leverages the latest microprocessor-controlled, multi-source LED technology to allow users to select with a rotary knob switch between a Super-Bright High Flux white (20 Lumens typical at full intensity), IR (880 nm), red (630 nm) or blue (470 nm) LED. The signaling strobe function operates from the off position by pressing twice on the switch with any color LED.

The IR LED is designed to be compatible with night vision equipment, making it ideal for night time military and other tactical operations, while the green LED is useful for illuminating without spooking game, as well as signaling for help or alerting fellow outdoorsmen when hunting. The red LED maintains hunters’ or soldiers’ night vision, the blue LED can be used for multiple uses such as checking injured personnel, emergency services applications or for tracking. The white LED is designed for general, all- purpose use.

The articulating head design allows precise light placement within a 185-degree range, and the strong spring steel clip (with optional integral helmet mount) securely fastens the Sidewinder to a helmet, belt or MOLLE/PAL-equipped tactical vest.

The high-impact Nylon case and scratch-resistant, unbreakable polycarbonate lens are O-ring sealed for exceptional durability. The waterproof Sidewinder meets MIL-STD-810F, Method 512.4 guidelines for waterproof operation, and runs on two “AA” size alkaline or lithium batteries. The flashlight body is available in Coyote or green.

The Sidewinder delivers more than 100-hours of runtime with any LED color at low intensity (5%). At full-intensity (100%), the Sidewinder provides between seven and twelve hours of runtime, depending on LED selection. The Sidewinder automatically shifts light intensity to the low-power setting at the end of the rated battery runtime to maximize battery life.
