Streamlight StylusLED Penlight

The Streamlight Stylus ultra slim LED pen light fits conveniently in a shirt pocket, backpack or hand bag. It is made from machined, black, aluminum case that is lightweight, heavy duty, waterproof, is just over 6.6" long and weighs only 1.1 ounces.

Stylus has a momentary push button switch in the tail cap and the tail cap is a continuous "on" twist type switch. It can operate for over 10 hours on a single set of 3 AAAA alkaline batteries. The super-bright LED has a life of over 100,000 hours. White, Blue, Green, Red, and Orange colors are available to meet your specific needs, professional, tactical, or home use. For specialty work and tactical situations Stylus is also available with an infrared LED.

Blue LED is a favorite of Law Enforcement. It temporarily ruins a suspects night vision and works great on crime scenes. Military and marine personnel use it as a signaling device because the blue LED is visible at longer distances and penetrates smoke, weather and haze. Many HVAC techs find it can display some freon dyes when searching for leaks.

White LED is preferred by EMS, medical and other professionals because it does not effect the colors of the object being examined. Electrical technicians and inspectors use this color also.

Green LED preserves night vision, and is a favorite of the military as a signaling device. Welders and aircraft airframe inspectors use the green light also as it contrasts minor cracks in bright metals and welds better than white light.

Orange LED is used by outdoorsmen, pilots, hunters, campers, and others who need to preserve night vision while still being able to correctly read color coded maps. The amber color will not mute or wash out green or red colors.

Red LED is used as a signaling device and for general illumination where night vision is a priority. The red color does not have the penetrating power of the other colors and does mute or wash red colors when used with maps
