The slide open box is easy to open and each match is partially varnished to ensure they will light even when wet. These Storm Waterproof Matches burn very hot for 11-13 seconds and are very difficult to put out, regardless of the environment used it. If you are a hunter, fisherman, military member, pilot, or anyone whose life could depend on the speed you can construct a fire, these matches are for you!
