The Princeton Tec Quad Tactical is a lightweight regulated LED headlamp with 3 brightness modes and flash mode. Four Ultrabright LEDs power through the darkest conditions. The Quad Tactical has an integrated filter that flips up when needed - includes red, blue and green interchangeable filters. The LEDs are safe forever inside a tough waterproof housing that will survive severe impacts and water submersions up to one meter. The wide beam of the Princeton Tec Quad Tactical is perfect for tasks around camp and is bright enough for technical scrambles and brisk runs on dark trails. Weight conscious users will love the Princeton Tec Quad Tactical's sophisticated circuitry that allows the use of lithium AAA batteries. They reduce the Quad Tactical's weight to 2.9 ounces, perform in extremely cold temperatures, and significantly increase regulated burn times on all modes. Equipped with regulated LEDs that maintain constant brightness and a battery power meter, the Princeton Tec Quad Tactical LED headlamp just may be smarter than you are.

The Princeton Tec Quad Tactical LED headlamp uses a sophisticated current regulating circuit that maintains initial brightness as long as the batteries have sufficient voltage. Regulated LEDs provide stead light output over a given time period. Regulated burn time is dependant on the battery type and light level selected. As battery power diminishes, the different modes may appear to have the same brightness levels. This is a normal function of the regulated LED / current controlled circuit.

Includes elastic headstrap & red, blue, green filters

Red Low battery indicator LED:
The purpose of the red low battery power meter LED is to indicate when the batteries are near the end of their functional life. If the Princeton Tec Quad Tactical is turned off and the battery voltage is low, the red low battery power meter LED will become active and start blinking. If the Princeton Tec Quad Tactical headlamp is turned on and the battery voltage is low, the light beam will blink several times in rapid succession. This signal indicates the batteries are running low on power.

Note: The red low battery power meter LED only functions when the Quad headlamp is turned off and will not blink while the headlamp is turned on.
