Princeton Tec Genesis LED Flashlight - Clearance Designed for tactical applications, the Genesis uses a regulated 3 Watt Maxbright LED, and has a momentary/constant on switch.
The Genesis features a combination of a bright 3 watt Luxeon LED and a sophisticated lens system. This latest lens technology efficiently gathers all of the available photons from the LED and projects them forward, providing up to 47 Lumens of light output. The Genesis has an elastomer covered handle which ensures a firm grip and durability. Powered by 2- CR123 lithium batteries, the Genesis is current controlled to provide constant output and the tail cap switch offers momentary and constant power. Waterproof to 1 meter, this workhorse has a burn time of 1.75 hours of constant light output and 20 hours of total light output. Includes; holster, lanyard ring, roll-control ring, belt clip, and red, green and blue lens filters.
- Princeton Tec lights that feature
regulated LEDs have a sophisticated regulating circuit that
maintains initial brightness as long as the batteries have
sufficient voltage. Traditional lights are very bright initially,
but immediately begin to dim and continue to dim until the batteries
are drained. Constant Brightness is a term used to describe products
that have regulated LEDs.
- Princeton Tec has developed
proprietary ultralight heatsinks to protect LED products from
overheating. Even though LEDs operate at much lower temperatures
than traditional incandescent bulbs, they still generate heat. If
this heat is not dissipated, the LED will suffer irreversible
damage. By using heatsinks, Princeton Tec lights can burn at extreme
brightness levels for long periods of time. The heatsink may be
incorporated internally or externally depending on the product and
its application.
- The highest quality LED available
from Lumileds, Princeton Tec’s Maxbright LED is extremely bright and
efficient. This single LED emits a smooth, powerful, white light
useful for a wide range of tasks. Princeton Tec uses collimators or
reflectors with the Maxbright LED depending upon the application.
The Maxbright is offered in one- and three-watt power configurations
and advances continue to be made.
- This pattern creates a long,
powerful beam of light excellent for illuminating distant areas. The
resulting long-throw spotlight is especially well-suited for night
hiking and search and rescue.
- A collimator gathers all available
light from an LED in the form of scattered rays and re-emits the
light as parallel rays, making it more optically efficient than a
standard reflector. Princeton Tec calibrates each collimator to the
type of LED and application of each light. With proprietary
optimized collimator/lens systems, Princeton Tec continues to
advance LED technology.
- Princeton Tec’s intermediate rating,
Level 2, is assigned to lights that offer a degree of water
protection equivalent to IPX7 in the International Electrotechnical
Commission (IEC) standards. Lights rated at Level 2 provide
waterproof integrity down to 1 meter for up to 30 minutes.

| Accessories:
Three colored lenses come with the light: red, green, and blue. Three
accessory rings are also included and can be swapped for one another.
They install just below the tailcap and you have to carefully remove the
O-ring from the end of the body tube to install or remove them. They
provide either a spring-loaded clip (which works very nicely), a lanyard
attachment ring, or an anti-roll ring with flat sides. An elastic-sided
nylon belt sheath is included and I'll tell you; this is the best
elastic-sided sheath I've ever seen. Very high quality. |
