Peltor Military Sound Trap
The Peltor Sound Trap Headset is an electronic headset that listens when appropriate and also attenuates when appropriate. Aided by an “electronic vent,” the headset is designed to reduce hazardous impulse noise from firearms to harmless levels within 5 milliseconds. This minimizes the risk of hazardous noise reaches the ear with risk of permanent damage.
A separate microphone, receiver, amplifier and volume control in each cup give the Peltor Sound Trap true stereophonic reception. Soundtrap is identical to the Tactical 6-S but is olive green color and has an audio jack on the left earcup. Sound Trap is a small, flexible and foldable hearing protector that transforms into the shape of a ball.
Peltor Sound Trap is equipped with an electrical audio input jack for connection
of two-way radios, telephones and portable cassette or CD players.
