Universal interlocking band system with visor that adapts to most riot helmets and was designed to fit the ACH, MICH and PASGT style military helmets. Integral thick rubber seal provides a liquid barrier at the helmet/shield surface. Unit attaches quickly and securely.
Face shield w/ Interlocking Band - locks into the stowed or deployed position and can be released with one hand; gloves do not hamper this operation. Pivot and lock assembly can be transferred to the right or left of the shield for individual preference. Visor provides superior optical quality due to the use of high grade polycarbonate and sophisticated injection molding methods.
Designed with a "break away" feature which gives the user freedom from being pulled against his will while in extreme riot conditions to free the user from neck injury.
Unparalleled fit - and function with existing protective helmets. The entire DK6 assembly can be easily and quickly removed from the helmet for storage at the convenience of the user and is easily installed at any time; assembly time is less than one minute and removal time is less than 30 seconds, a good field ready unit. Universal attachment band has an interlocking clamp with a strap that tucks inside the unit thus preventing the strap from being pulled on in heavy riot conditions.
