Innovative knifemakers Grant and Gavin Hawk score again with the ZT 0650st Automatic. It features the solid Zero Tolerance feel, a slightly lighter weight, and the unique style of Grant and Gavin Hawk. The 0650st is equipped with the new CrossFire Auto Lock for extreme lockdown security. Toss it on a table, snag it on a seatbelt, manhandle it on a duty belt—there’s no chance the blade will accidentally deploy. The CrossFire lock requires two motions to work. First slide the lock toward the knife’s spine then pull it down toward the butt. Only then will the blade deploy. The CrossFire was specifically designed to operate easily, even with gloves on.The Hawks chose a drop-point blade with partial serration in high-end S30V stainless steel for toughness and easy resharpening. Non-reflective, matte-black Tungsten DLC coating offers additional performance. The 0650st’s scales are constructed of 6061-T6 anodized aluminum with textured G-10 inlays for reduced weight and a secure grip.
