Recognizing the demand for an application-specific solution to this issue, SAM Medical has designed an applicator delivery system that addresses the needs of EMS providers, physicians, and medical providers in remote settings. The applicator and plunger system now make it possible for the hemostatic agent to reach deep into the site of a traumatic wound, getting straight to the source of bleeding. Each package contains 1 applicator/plunger sets with 6g (0.2oz) of Celox granule in each.

  • CELOX® Hemostat does not generate any heat, produce burning, nor does it embed itself into the wound.
  • CELOX controls hemmorhaging at all blood temperatures, even hypothermic patients.
  • CELOX blood stopping granules are lightweight, packaged in sterilized, sealed packets which are easy and fast to open.
  • Clots Heparinzed Blood (works on patients taking blood thinning medications).
  • Has natural antimicrobial characteristics.
  • The granular presentation provides a simple, quick way to stop bleeding and is particularly useful in treating difficult and deep wounds.
