3M Ultrathon Insect Repellent 2oz Lotion

Ultrathon is available in two concentrations: a 33% DEET formula in a 2 oz. lotion and a 25% DEET aerosol. Both formulations contain 3M's patented controlled-release polymer, which reduces the loss of DEET from the skin surface through absorption and evaporation, thus prolonging effectiveness. When Ultrathon is used on exposed skin in conjunction with permethrin-treated clothing, complete protection against annoying and potentially disease-causing mosquitoes and ticks can be achieved.

A leading consumers’ magazine recently tested Ultrathon (the 33% DEET lotion formula) and rated it the number one insect repellent. In this test, Ultrathon prevented mosquito bites for over 12 hours and tick attachment for over 9 hours.

The new 25% DEET spray formula also affords long-lasting protection: up to 8 hours against mosquitoes. The convenient spray-through cap sprays upside down for total coverage, including hard-to-reach spots.
